Katie grew up in Winfield, IA. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is working towards earning her permanent Hearing Aid Dispensing License. Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Dr. Carr grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA, and earned her B.A. (2007) and Au.D. (2011) from the University of Iowa. She did her clinical residency at the University of Iowa and worked there for several years before relocating to Portland, OR, where she worked for Oregon Health and Science University. She returned to Iowa in 2017 to be closer to family and is excited to be a part of the Iowa Audiology team. Dr. Carr is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, reading, gardening and cheering on the Hawkeyes.
Jenna was raised in West Liberty, Iowa and joined the Iowa Audiology team in July of 2008. She is a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband and step-son, family and friends, camping, golfing and playing volleyball.
Dr. Aird grew up in Dubuque, IA, and earned his BA and MA degrees from the University of Northern Iowa in 1992 and 1994 respectively. After a clinical residency in Audiology at University of Iowa Hospitals, Dr. Aird joined the staff at Iowa Audiology and Hearing Aid Centers in 1995. He earned his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Aird is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the Iowa Association of Hearing Health Professionals. Dr. Aird currently serves on the advisory board for the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and previously served as the vice chair on the Iowa Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology Examiners. Dr. Aird enjoys spending time with his family, bicycling, and camping. He is married to the former Krista Johnson of Winfield, IA, and has two daughters, Lauren and Rachel.

Beth grew up in Maple Grove, MN and recently moved to Iowa. She graduated from St. Cloud State, MN with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In her free time Beth loves to go hiking, cooking, and explore new restaurants and coffee shops around town.
Amy joined the Iowa Audiology team in December of 2013. She was raised in Southwest Iowa and attended Iowa Western Community College. Amy has over 20 years of experience in customer service and patient care. Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, outdoor activities and doing home projects.
Dr. Lowder grew up in Lovington, IL, earned his Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1964 and his Master's Degree from Chicago's DePaul University in 1968.
After working in the Evanston, IL, public schools, he moved to Iowa City in 1968. He worked as a speech and hearing consultant for the University of Iowa until 1981 when he founded Iowa Audiology and Hearing Aid Centers in Coralville, IA.
He earned his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Lowder has served two terms as President of the Iowa Association of Hearing Health Professionals. He also served on the Board of the Audiology Foundation of America and was the Chair of the Foundation from 2001-2006. He was appointed by former governor Terry Branstad to Iowa's Speech Pathology and Audiology Board of Examiners in 1998 and served as the Chair of the Board for four years.
He is married to the former Mary Wilmeth of Iowa City and has one son, Jarryd, a computer artist who lives in New York City. Dr. Lowder is now retired, but very much enjoys stopping into the office hoping to see and visit with his former patients. Dr. Lowder devoted over 50 years helping patients with communicative problems, primarily those with hearing loss.
