Dr. Jason E. Aird
Audiologist, President and CEO

Dr. Aird grew up in Dubuque, IA, and earned his BA and MA degrees from the University of Northern Iowa in 1992 and 1994 respectively. After a clinical residency in Audiology at University of Iowa Hospitals, Dr. Aird joined the staff at Iowa Audiology and Hearing Aid Centers in 1995. He earned his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Aird is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the Iowa Association of Hearing Health Professionals. Dr. Aird serves as vice chairman on the Iowa Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology Examiners and also serves on the advisory board for the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Dr. Aird enjoys spending time with his family, bicycling, and camping. He is married to the former Krista Johnson of Winfield, IA, and has two daughters, Lauren and Rachel.

Dr. Stacy Rebal
Audiologist

Dr. Rebal grew up in Iowa City, IA and earned her B.A. from the University of Iowa in 1993. She earned her M.S. in Audiology from Idaho State Universtiy in 1994 and also has her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree through the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Rebal has moved from Tuscon, AZ to Iowa City to join the Iowa Audiology team. After living away from Iowa and practicing Audiology for over ten years, she is very happy to be closer to her family and friends. Dr. Rebal is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Iowa Association of Hearing Health Professionals. She currently staffs our Washington, Muscatine, Tipton, Marengo, and Sigourney offices. Dr. Rebal enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Jenna Meyers
Business Manager

Jenna was born and raised in West Liberty, Iowa. She is a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Jenna enjoys spending time with family and friends, scrapbooking, golfing and playing volleyball.

Sandy Robinson
Office Assistant - Washington Office

Sandy has lived her entire life in the Washington, Iowa area. She has taken some office education classes through Kirkwood. Sandy has four children, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She enjoys gardening, feeding and watching birds, camping, and spending time with her family.


Kenneth L. Lowder, Au.D.
Founder, Emeritus

Dr. Lowder grew up in Lovington, IL, earned his Bachelors Degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1964 and his Masters Degree from Chicago's DePaul University in 1968. After working in the Evanston, IL, public schools, he moved to Iowa City in 1968. He worked as a speech and hearing consultant for the University of Iowa until 1981 when he founded Iowa Audiology and Hearing Aid Centers in Coralville, IA. He earned his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Lowder has served two terms as President of the Iowa Association of Hearing Health Professionals. He also served on the Board of the Audiology Foundation of America and was the Chair of the Foundation from 2001-2006. He was appointed by former governor Terry Branstad to Iowa's Speech Pathology and Audiology Board of Examiners in 1998 and served as the Chair of the Board for four years. He is married to the former Mary Wilmeth of Iowa City and has one son, Jarryd, a computer artist who lives in New York City. Dr. Lowder is now retired, but very much enjoys stopping into the office hoping to see and visit with his former patients. Dr. Lowder devoted over 50 years helping patients with communicative problems, primarily those with hearing loss.
